ZenGRC April 2015 Release Features
The ZenGRC April 2015 release introduces a redesigned quick start dashboard with workflow and task visibility, a collapsible left-hand navigation menu, customizable attributes for any object with import support, keyword-based object filtering, toggleable horizontal navigation, a new button to open object pages in new tabs, adjustable object description modals, and relocated import/export buttons for directive sections and clauses now accessible within the directive’s sections/clauses widget.
ZenGRC’s latest release comes with several new feature updates:
-
New look and feel with the quick start dashboard: The new dashboard displays workflow status, your tasks, and your requests. It also allows you to create and search for new objects easily.
-
New left hand navigation: Click on the menu button (three lines) to expand or hide the navigation panel.
-
Custom attributes for any object: Open the Admin dashboard to add custom fields for any objects. To import controls with custom attributes, add the attribute title as a new column in the import template.
-
Object filter: If you need to sort through hundreds of objects, type in a keyword to narrow down the list.
-
Show/hide horizontal navigation menu button: This button is found near the top right of the screen and allows you to show or hide the horizontal navigation menu.
-
Open object page button: Located at the right-most edge of any object’s row, this button opens the object page in a new tab.
-
Object description modal: Includes minimize, default, and maximize height buttons for better viewing options.
-
New location/button for importing and exporting objects: For objects such as sections and clauses of directives, the import/export buttons are now found by opening the directive (regulation, standard, contract, policy) and adding the sections/clauses widget. The import/export buttons will be visible there. Previously, these buttons were accessed by hovering over the + icon.
